English Teacher – The Role Teach English across Key Stages 4 and 5, including GCSE and A-Level. Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the relevant curriculum and exam specifications. Cover key areas of the English curriculum, including reading, writing, spoken language, and the study of prose, poetry, drama and Shakespeare.
Prepare students for examinations and support them in achieving their academic targets. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to improve attainment. Use a range of texts and real-world contexts to develop students' comprehension, analysis and written communication skills.
Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of students across a range of abilities. Maintain effective classroom management and promote positive behaviour. Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum delivery and student achievement. Create an inclusive and engaging learning environme...
