Responsibilities

The successful English and Drama Teacher will plan and deliver engaging lessons in both subjects to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students (with potential for Key Stage 5). You will cultivate students' reading, writing, speaking, acting, and performance skills, inspiring a passion for literature and theatre.

Assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and contributing to departmental development are key duties for this English and Drama Teacher role.

Requirements

Applicants must be a qualified teacher (QTS) with a specialism in either English or Drama (or both) and a relevant degree. Proven experience teaching both English and Drama at the secondary level is essential. Strong subject knowledge across both curricula, excellent communication skills, and effective classroom management are required.
