Overview

As an Enterprise Architecture Consultant, you will help modernise client technology estates and translate business strategy into actionable architectural roadmaps. You’ll co-create enterprise visions and roadmaps aligned to business objectives, applying Lean and Agile principles to large-scale transformations.

You’ll work with cross-functional stakeholders, provide governance through programmes, and shape AI, data, and cloud-enabled platforms. This role offers impact across industry-leading engagements and opportunities to influence executive-level decisions.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of enterprise architecture engagements to modernise client technology estates
• Assess business strategy and industry trends to drive EA changes across apps, data, infrastructure and operations
• Co-create enterprise architecture vision, strategy and roadmap aligned to business objectives
• Translate recommendations into actionable transformation plans for large-scale tech environments using Lean and Agile principles
• Develop value cases and investment justifications guiding architecture decisions
• Coordinate with business, technology and third-party stakeholders on key architectural decisions
• Provide architecture governance to keep initiatives aligned with guidelines and business objectives
• Support creation of EA blueprints covering end-to-end landscape across applications, integrations and data
• Design and govern enterprise data and AI platform capabilities and operating models
• Perform vendor and platform assessments and EA maturity assessments for clients
• Leverage AI tools for research and analysis, validated by domain knowledge
• Work autonomously on defined workstreams and coordinate junior colleagues to meet time, budget and quality
• Produce high-quality architecture deliverables for C-suite audiences
• Contribute to growth and knowledge sharing within Accenture ITSA
• Build trusted client relationships and shape proposals and work orders

Key requirements

• Experience in EA domains: business, application, data, and technology
• Designing cloud, data-platform and AI solutions (incl. GenAI)
• Knowledge of architecture governance and TOGAF; capability in modelling, planning, and roadmapping
• Experience with EA tooling and governance structures; operating model or governance capability
• Mergers, acquisitions and divestments experience is a plus
• Hands-on EA tooling knowledge (LeanIX, Ardoq, iServer, ServiceNow)
• Familiarity with frameworks such as APQC Process Classification Framework, Zachman, SAFe
