Enterprise Solutions Architect Location: Edinburgh (Hybrid) Contract: Initial 6-Month Contract Rate: Competitive (Inside IR35) Start Date: ASAP The Opportunity We're seeking an experienced Enterprise Solutions Architect to join a major transformation programme for a leading organisation based in Edinburgh.

This is a high-profile contract role where you'll work closely with business and technology leadership teams to define and deliver enterprise-scale solutions that support strategic objectives and long-term technology roadmaps.

Key Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end architecture of complex business and technology initiatives. Work with senior stakeholders to understand strategic objectives and translate them into technology solutions. Create and maintain architecture artefacts, roadmaps, standards, and design documentation.

Provide leadership across solution design, integration, cloud adoption, and modernisation initiatives. Ensure architectural governance and compliance with security, risk, and regulatory requirements. Support project delivery teams throughout the full lifecycle from discovery through to implementation.

Essential Experience Proven experience operating as an Enterprise Architect, Lead Solutions Architect, or Enterprise Solutions Architect within large, complex environments. Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks and best practices.

Experience delivering large-scale digital transformation, cloud migration, or modernisation programmes. Expertise across application, infrastructure, data, security, and integration architecture. Strong knowledge of cloud technologies, particularly Azure and/or AWS.

Excellent stakeholder management skills with experience engaging at Executive and C-Suite level. Desirable Skills TOGAF or equivalent architecture certification. Financial Services, Public Sector, Utilities, or other heavily regulated industry experience.
