We're supporting a leading UK infrastructure services business that's playing a key role in maintaining, renewing and improving some of the country's most critical transport networks, and they're looking for an Environmental Advisor.

This is an opportunity to step into a highly visible role where you'll influence major infrastructure projects, drive environmental best practice and help shape a more sustainable future. From working alongside project teams and clients to leading environmental initiatives across complex programmes, this position offers genuine variety, responsibility and the chance to make a real impact.

What You'll Be Doing

Influencing Major Infrastructure Projects – Provide expert environmental and sustainability guidance across projects from tender stage through to construction and delivery. Building Key Stakeholder Relationships – Partner with clients, regulators, suppliers and operational teams to ensure environmental requirements are successfully embedded.

Leading Environmental Compliance – Manage audits, inspections and environmental management systems while maintaining industry-leading standards. Driving Sustainability & Innovation – Champion resource efficiency, carbon reduction and continuous improvement across multiple projects.

Being the Go-To Environmental Expert – Deliver training, share best practice and provide specialist advice that helps projects succeed. Who They're Looking For: A Qualified Environmental Professional – Degree-qualified in Environmental Management, Environmental Science, Sustainability or a related discipline.

An Exceptional Communicator – Someone who can confidently influence, engage and build relationships with stakeholders at every level. A Practical Problem Solver – A solutions-focused professional who can identify environmental risks and deliver pragmatic, commercially minded advice.

An Infrastructure Specialist – Experience within infrastructure, highways, utilities or related sectors will be highly advantageous. An Ambitious Environmental Champion – A proactive individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is committed to continuous professional development.
