Location:Derbyshire Salary:Up to £35,000 per annum Hours:Monday to Friday: 6am-2.30pm A well-established manufacturer is looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Machining Technicianto join its production team.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing manufacturing business supplying polystyrene inserts into the construction industry. The Role You will set up, operate, and monitor EPS pre-expanders and shape-moulding machinery, carry out quality inspections, and support finishing processes to ensure products meet customer specifications and production targets.
Key Responsibilities * Operate and monitor machinery * Carry out routine quality checks on machinery * Pressure test, monitor cycle times, rectify machine faults. * Assist with insertion moulding and secondary manufacturing operations * Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment * Work alongside maintenance engineers to complete repairs * Follow production procedures and health & safety standards at all times What Were Looking For Previous experience in plastic or polystyrene machining, or machine operation.
