Permanent Our client, a growing organisation within the renewable energy sector, is seeking an Esri ArcGIS Engineer to support the planning, design and development of power infrastructure.

This permanent opportunity would suit a GIS professional or surveyor with strong ArcGIS Pro capabilities and practical experience in substations, underground cable routes and overhead line corridors.

Key Responsibilities

Using ArcGIS Pro to model substations, underground cable routes and overhead line corridorsApplying Spatial Analyst, Network Analyst, 3D Analyst and Utility Network tools to renewable energy and power infrastructure projectsCarrying out spatial analysis, corridor routing, terrain profiling and constraint mappingManaging utility and network data, including the maintenance of geodatabases and as-built recordsApplying GIS principles to substation siting, cable trench and route design, and overhead line alignmentProducing accurate maps, design drawings and technical information for project teams and stakeholdersDeveloping Python and ArcPy automation tools for optimisation, quantity take-offs and drawing productionWorking with engineering, surveying and development teams to support effective project deliveryJob

Requirements
