The Role
As a Demolition Estimator, you will play a key role in preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for a wide range of demolition projects. Working closely with operational and commercial teams, you'll help secure new business while ensuring tenders are commercially viable and technically robust.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for demolition projects. Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and client requirements. Carry out site visits to assess project scope and identify potential risks.
Produce competitive tender submissions within required timescales. Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors. Liaise with operational, commercial, and project delivery teams during the tender process.
Identify value engineering opportunities and cost-saving solutions. Maintain accurate estimating records and support handover of successful projects.
About You
We're looking for someone who has: Proven experience in demolition estimating. Strong commercial awareness and technical understanding of demolition projects. The ability to assess complex tenders and develop accurate cost estimates.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multiple departments. A proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously.
