As part of their continued growth, they are actively seeking an experienced Estimator to join their pre-contract. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly successful and growing principal contractor with a family-like feel.
This is a full-time permanent position based out of their Derby office with flexible working arrangements. Working hours: 8:45am - 5:15pm (with a 1-hour lunch), Monday - Friday Your new role As Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing and submitting competitive tenders and budgets, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards and client requirements.
You'll work closely with internal departments, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather essential data, assess project costs, and support the delivery of high-quality bids. You'll also supervise junior staff and contribute to their development.
Key responsibilities include
Preparing detailed tenders and estimates in line with company procedures. Conducting site visits to assess conditions and gather relevant data. Liaising with clients, designers, and internal teams to understand project requirements.
Obtaining quotations from subcontractors and suppliers. Ensuring compliance with health visa sponsorship cannot be provided for this position.
