With a healthy pipeline of secured and upcoming projects, this role offers long-term stability alongside the opportunity to play a key part in shaping future business wins. The company delivers a variety of projects typically valued between 500k and 5m, across multiple sectors via competitive tenders, frameworks, and their own developments.

You’ll be joining a collaborative and experienced team, where your input will genuinely be valued and you’ll have the autonomy to influence how projects are approached and priced. The RoleAs Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive tenders, supporting the business in securing new work.

Key responsibilities include:Preparing detailed cost estimates from first principles for a range of construction projectsReviewing drawings, specifications, and tender documentationProducing bills of quantities and pricing schedulesLiaising with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive quotationsIdentifying risks, opportunities, and value engineering optionsSupporting bid submissions and contributing to tender strategyWorking closely with the commercial and operational teams throughout the pre-construction phaseMaintaining and developing strong supply chain relationshipsWhat We’re Looking ForProven experience as an Estimator within a main contractor environmentStrong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and pricingExperience pricing projects within the 500k – 5m range (desirable)Ability to work independently and manage multiple tendersExcellent attention to detail and commercial awarenessStrong communication and negotiation skillsFull UK driving licenceWhy Join?
