Estimator - Infrastructure

Overview

In this role you will produce accurate estimates and cost plans for infrastructure projects, collaborating within Turner & Townsend’s Estimating Hub. You will support client organisations as an embedded resource or through multi-client assignments, contributing to decision-making with robust cost data. The role blends independent estimate production with advancing estimating practice across the department. It offers a chance to impact major programmes and grow within a global, project-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate, timely estimates and cost plans for projects
• Own and manage the estimating process at project level
• Generate estimates with minimal supervision
• Promote estimating good practice within the firm
• Support achievement of departmental objectives
• Stay updated on technical developments to provide best-practice advice

Key requirements

• Qualified to high standard in Estimating or Quantity Surveying with proven relevant experience
• Experience delivering estimating and/or QS services in large projects
• Experience with estimating software packages
• Membership of a professional body with chartered status or working towards it
• Desirable membership of RICS / CIOB / A. Cost E.
