European Category Manager Automotive Aftersales £50,000 + Bonus | 12-Month FTC | Automotive / E-commerce Join a growing international technology and e-commerce business taking its automotive aftermarket proposition across multiple European markets.

Were looking for a European Category Manager to take commercial ownership of an automotive aftersales product category. Youll shape the range, identify new opportunities, support go-to-market activity and use sales and market data to drive category performance across different European regions and online channels.

The role Own the category: Develop the European category strategy, manage the product lifecycle and make informed decisions around product selection, range optimisation, launches and market expansion. Know the automotive aftermarket: Act as the product SME across automotive parts/aftersales products , owning accurate specifications, fitment and product data across the range.

Drive commercial performance: Analyse sales, margin and market trends, working closely with Pricing, Sales and Marketing on promotions, merchandising and go-to-market strategy. What we're looking for This role needs someone with genuine automotive aftermarket/product knowledge .

You'll understand automotive parts, product ranges and ideally how those products are categorised, positioned and sold through e-commerce or marketplace channels . You'll be commercially minded and comfortable using data to make decisions around product assortment, pricing, sales performance and new market opportunities .

The business is also introducing AI-assisted product listing/content tools , so you'll use your automotive product expertise to guide and validate AI-generated product information rather than needing to be an AI specialist.

Salary: £50,000 + bonus Contract: 12-month FTC Reports to: Head of Category Management Direct reports: None Key measures: Sales growth, gross margin, promotional effectiveness, successful product launches and product-range optimisation.

Potential beyond the FTC: There may be scope for longer-term opportunities as the function evolves, but this shouldn't be positioned as guaranteed.
