Job Description OverviewWe are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Fabric Engineer to join a growing facilities maintenance team working at Barnet Hospital. Initial contract term 3 months. Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out planned and reactive fabric maintenance across multiple sitesPerform general building repairs including basic carpentry, plumbing, painting, and patch repairsInspect and report on building fabric condition and defectsEnsure all work is completed safely and to a high standardLiaise with site contacts and helpdesk teams to update job progressMaintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle responsiblyRequirementsPrevious experience in fabric engineering, building maintenance, or a similar trade roleStrong all-round maintenance skills (carpentry, patch repairs, basic plumbing/painting)Ability to work independently and manage daily workloadGood communication and problem-solving skillsBasic understanding of health & safety procedures on site
