Factory Controller

Overview

In this role you will lead financial processes for a factory/site, shaping financial strategy and partner with factory managers to drive performance. You will convert strategy into actionable plans, oversee planning and forecasting, and ensure strong controls aligned with group policies. You will collaborate with leadership across sites to deliver high-quality financial data for decision making. This is a hands-on role with visible impact on factory performance and strategic direction, supported by a global financial team.

Responsibilities

• Define the finance strategy for the factory/site and translate it into actionable plans
• Partner with factory managers to determine area-specific strategy and align with global objectives
• Develop and manage business planning and forecasting for the area of responsibility
• Establish and maintain robust business controls in line with group policies
• Lead financial analysis to monitor performance and inform decision making
• Collaborate with Leadership Teams across manufacturing sites to meet objectives
• Support travel between locations and contribute to cross-site financial initiatives

Key requirements

• 3+ years in a Financial Leadership role within manufacturing/operations
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Excellent financial analysis capabilities and ability to translate data into metrics
• Enhanced knowledge of SAP; experience with ERP changes/implementation
• Passion for manufacturing and delivering high-quality financial reporting
• Current UK driving license and willingness to travel between two locations
• Preferably ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification or substantial professional experience
