Job Description Field Service Engineer | Northern Ireland | Permanent | £36k - £39k Are you a hands-on engineer with a passion for sustainability and problem-solving? We're looking for a Field-Based Service Engineer to help deliver carbon-neutral solutions across Northern Ireland.
You'll join a supportive team working on cutting-edge biomass steam boiler systems, helping to maintain, repair, ad optimise performance on-site.
What You'll Be Doing
Travel to client sites across Scotland (some overnight stays required)Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on biomass steam boilersPerform fault-finding, servicing, and equipment repairsMaintain accurate records using a computerised maintenance systemEnsure high standards of health, safety, and environmental complianceSupport customer relationships with clear, confident communicationWhat You'll Need: HND or time-served apprenticeship in mechanical/electrical engineeringAt least 2 years' industrial engineering experience (electrical bias preferred)Field service or multi-site maintenance experienceFull UK driving licenceA flexible, hands-on approach and strong problem-solving skillsBonus points for experience with steam boilers, biomass systems, or PLCs.
