Job Description Reed Finance is currently working with a well-established organisation based in Middlesbrough who are seeking a commercially focused Finance Business Partner. As a trusted partner to site leadership, you will play a pivotal role in budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives, helping to shape the future success of the business unit. Key Responsibilities Act as the primary finance contact and trusted business partner for site management, providing key financial metrics, analysis, and commercial insight.

Develop strong working relationships with operational stakeholders to support informed decision-making. Provide financial expertise and guidance on new business initiatives, capital investments, and projects. Promote financial awareness across the business, ensuring cost and revenue impacts are understood at all levels.

Lead the month-end process, delivering detailed variance analysis and actionable insights to key stakeholders. Present monthly financial results to senior management and operational teams, helping drive an understanding of business performance and profitability.

Prepare annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-term strategic plans, including relevant KPI reporting. Oversee balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring strong financial controls and compliance with company procedures.

Identify opportunities to improve processes, enhance efficiency, and strengthen financial reporting capabilities. Support year-end audit activities, providing comprehensive explanations and documentation to external auditors.
