This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified CIMA Accountant who enjoys combining strong financial control with commercial insight in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Reporting directly to senior management, you will take ownership of the finance function, lead a small team and play a key role in supporting the continued growth of the business.
Key responsibilities will include
Production of monthly management accounts with detailed variance analysis and commentaryBudgeting, forecasting and cash flow managementMonitoring manufacturing costs, margins and operational performanceDeveloping and enhancing financial reporting and KPI analysisSupporting senior management with commercial and strategic decision-makingManaging balance sheet reconciliations and maintaining robust financial controlsLeading and developing a finance team of fourManaging the year-end audit process and acting as the key point of contact for external auditorsSupporting continuous improvement initiatives across finance systems and processesEnsuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirementsAbout YouTo be successful in this role, you will ideally possess: CIMA qualification (or equivalent ACCA/ACA)Previous experience within a manufacturing, engineering or production environmentStrong management accounting and financial control experienceExperience managing and developing finance staffExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong ERP and Excel skillsThe ability to communicate financial information clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholdersWhat's on OfferOpportunity to join a growing and ambitious manufacturing businessLeadership role with genuine influence across the organisationCompetitive salary and benefits packageSupportive and collaborative working environmentLong-term career development opportunitiesThis is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded Finance Manager looking to make a significant impact within a thriving manufacturing business.
