Finance manager

Overview

In this Finance Manager role, you join the finance leadership team to ensure accurate financial reporting, robust controls, and ongoing process improvements. You will lead a small finance function in a growing organisation, partnering with stakeholders to support business objectives and improvements. The role focuses on delivering timely reports, insightful analysis, and automation-driven efficiency. Responsibilities

• Lead month-end, quarter-end and year-end reporting activities
• Ensure robust financial controls and balance sheet integrity
• Prepare and review management accounts and financial reporting packs
• Support budgeting, forecasting and cash flow processes
• Deliver insightful financial analysis to support business decision-making
• Manage, mentor and develop members of the finance team
• Drive finance process improvements and automation initiatives
• Support audit, tax and statutory reporting requirements
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business

Key requirements

• Experienced finance professional with a strong technical accounting background and previous experience managing teams within a fast-paced environment
• Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Strong management accounting and financial reporting experience
• Experience leading and developing finance teams
