Finance Manager

Overview

In this Finance Manager role you will oversee the day-to-day finance function and deliver timely, accurate financial reporting. You will lead a small finance team, partner with senior stakeholders, and ensure strong controls and compliance. Responsibilities

• Lead monthly management accounts process with accurate reporting and reconciliations
• Provide commercial insight and financial analysis to support growth, pricing and strategy
• Oversee tax, VAT, statutory accounts and audit activities; coordinate year-end audits
• Manage and coach a small finance team and drive performance
• Drive finance process improvements and strengthen financial controls
• Oversee intercompany accounting and general ledger activity
• Support strategic projects and build strong partnerships with wider finance teams

Key requirements

• Strong technical accounting knowledge across month-end and year-end
• Experience managing or supervising a finance team
• Qualified (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) or equivalent experience
• Experience with general ledger and intercompany accounting and financial reporting
• Audit experience desirable
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Good attention to detail
• Interest in refining processes and adding value beyond day-to-day duties
