This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly reputable business operating within a global group environment, offering exposure to statutory reporting, treasury, VAT, fixed assets and financial controls. Your new roleReporting to the Financial Controller, you will play a key role in supporting the financial accounting function and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting across the business.

Key responsibilities will include:Supporting treasury activities, VAT reporting and statutory reporting requirementsPreparing and posting monthly journals, accruals and prepaymentsPerforming balance sheet reconciliations and supporting month-end close processesMaintaining and reconciling the fixed asset registerEnsuring investments are authorised and accounted for correctlyAssisting with internal and external audits and providing supporting documentationSupporting financial control processes and regulatory compliance requirementsAssisting with finance projects and system implementation activitiesIdentifying opportunities for process improvement and increased efficiencyWorking collaboratively with stakeholders across the wider businessWhat you'll need to succeedTo be successful in this role, you will have:CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualification (although AAT and qualified by experience will also be considered)Strong understanding of journals, accruals, prepayments and reconciliationsExperience using accounting software packagesIntermediate to advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPsExcellent attention to detail and organisational skillsStrong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholdersA proactive approach and willingness to learn and developWhat you'll get in returnSalary of 50,000 - 53,000 per annumOpportunity to join a globally recognised and financially stable organisationExposure to a broad financial accounting remitOngoing training and development opportunitiesSupportive and collaborative finance team environmentLong-term career progression prospectsWhat You Need to Do NowIf you’re interested in this role, click ‘apply now’ to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or get in touch for a confidential discussion.
