Financial Accountant

We're partnering with a leading global life sciences and diagnostics organisation undergoing a significant divestiture and finance transformation programme. This is an exciting opportunity to join a project-focused finance team, supporting the establishment of a new standalone organisation, including new legal entities, financial reporting structures and accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities Support the establishment of new legal entities, accounting structures and finance processes Prepare and review balance sheets, P&L statements and financial reporting Support M&A, divestiture and separation accounting activities Assist with opening balance sheets and validation of transferred balances Manage intercompany accounting, reconciliations and Group reporting Support general ledger mapping, journals and consolidations Assist with finance systems implementation, testing and transition activities Identify accounting risks, resolve discrepancies and drive process improvements Collaborate with Finance, Tax, Treasury and project teams throughout the transformation Successful Candidate ACA, ACCA, CIMA Qualifed or Finalist preferred Strong technical accounting background with financial reporting experience Experience in M&A accounting and Purchase Price Allocation (PPA) highly desirable Strong balance sheet reconciliation and P&L analysis skills Ability to work across both technical accounting and project-related activities Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills Available immediately or at short notice We are happy to provide application and/or accessibility support, please contact your Marks Sattin or Grafton consultant directly to discuss your needs.
