Job Description Financial ControllerLiverpool | Hybrid (2 Days Office) | £70,000 + Benefits | Fixed Term Contract to December 2027Want the scale and complexity of a large business without the bureaucracy? A high-growth, market-leading organisation is looking for an experienced Financial Controller to take ownership of a sizeable finance function during an exciting period of expansion, change and systems transformation.
This is far more than a traditional financial reporting role. You'll lead a talented finance team, partner with senior stakeholders across the business, drive process improvements and play a key role in a major ERP transformation programme.
The business operates across multiple entities and continues to evolve at pace, making this an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building, improving and influencing. What you'll be doingLeading and developing a team of qualified and part-qualified accountantsOwning month-end close, reporting and financial control processesEnsuring balance sheet integrity and audit readinessDriving continuous improvement across finance processes and systemsSupporting a significant finance transformation project, including ERP migrationPartnering with senior leadership across a multi-entity operationWhat we're looking forQualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)Proven Financial Controller or Senior Finance Manager experienceStrong technical accounting and controls backgroundExperience leading and developing teamsComfortable operating in a fast-moving, constantly evolving environmentExperience of systems implementations or finance transformation would be advantageousWhy consider it?
