As a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager, you will play a key role in supporting strategic decision-making, financial performance, and business transformation initiatives.
Working closely with the Senior FP&A Manager you'll help deliver our budgeting process, maintain and enhance revenue models, and contribute to the development of Board-level balanced scorecard reporting. You'll also partner with our Change function to ensure programmes deliver measurable benefits, improved operational efficiency, and tangible commercial value across our Border to Coast operations.

The role what youll be doingAs a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager your role is hugely important and will include: BudgetingSupport the delivery of budgeting and monthly performance reportingChange & Benefits RealisationPartner with Change and Transformation teams to define, track, and validate financial and operational benefits of transformation initiativesBuild and maintain benefits tracking frameworks, ensuring clear ownership and accountabilityChallenge assumptions and validate business cases with robust financial and commercial analysisSupport post-implementation reviews to confirm delivery vs. planCommercial & Financial AnalysisProvide actionable insights into Border to Coast cost performance driversAssess the impact of proposed changes on P&L, cash flow, and customer outcomesIdentify risks and opportunities to improve commercial performanceProcess Modelling & Efficiency ImprovementMap, analyse, and optimise key Border to Coast processes to drive efficiencyIdentify process inefficiencies, duplication, and automation opportunitiesSupport implementation of improved processes, including performance tracking and KPIsEmbed a culture of continuous improvement and data-driven decision makingData & Insight DeliveryDevelop dashboards and reporting to track change performance, benefits, and operational metricsTranslate complex data into clear commercial insights for stakeholdersWork with data teams to ensure data quality, consistency, and accessibilityAbout you - and the value youll bring to our teamAbility to manage tight deadlines whilst ensuring quality of outputsStrong problem-solving and decision-making skillsStrong analytical and financial modelling skillsStrong commercial acumen and business partnering skillsStrong communication, engagement and influencing skills with confidence to challenges across all levels of the organisationBudgeting, forecasting and financial modellingProven ability to deliver benefits realisation or support transformation programmesEffective IT skills required for the job role, including advanced Excel, PowerBI and data analysis capabilityAbility to develop dashboards and improve reporting capabilityUse of PowerBITPBN1_UKTJ
