Fire Alarm Engineers – Nationwide Travel Location: Nationwide (UK Travel Required) Salary: £40,000 Basic + OTE £55,000 Package: Company Van & Fuel Card Position: Permanent The Opportunity We are urgently looking to recruit experienced Fire Alarm Engineers to join a growing contractor working on projects across the UK within the retail sector.

This is a fantastic opportunity for Fire Alarm Engineers looking for a new challenge, with a competitive basic salary of £40,000 and earning potential of up to £55,000. The role will involve working on retail sites nationwide, so flexibility and a willingness to travel and stay away when required are essential.

Immediate opportunities available for the right candidates. The Role You will be responsible for carrying out fire alarm installation, commissioning, servicing and maintenance works across a variety of retail sites nationwide. Responsibilities will include:

• Installing fire alarm systems across retail environments.
• Carrying out commissioning, testing and fault finding.
• Servicing and maintaining existing fire alarm systems.
• Working from technical drawings and specifications.
• Identifying faults and carrying out repairs.
• Ensuring all installations comply with relevant British Standards and industry regulations.
• Completing all relevant paperwork and certification.
• Liaising with site teams and clients.
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship and health and safety. The Ideal Candidate We are looking for experienced Fire Alarm Engineers with:
• Previous experience installing, servicing and commissioning fire alarm systems.
• Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems and associated equipment.
• Experience working within commercial or retail environments.
• Good fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Knowledge of relevant British Standards, including BS 5839.
• FIA qualifications or equivalent would be advantageous.
• A full UK driving licence.
• Flexibility to travel nationwide and stay away when required. What's on Offer?
