Fire and Security Service Engineer

Fire & Security Engineer Salary: Up to £42,000 per annum, depending on experience (Basic- Without Travel and Package on top) (Basic Salary + Package and Travel - Means OTE is upwards of 48k ) Travel: Door-to-door travel paid Call-Out Rota: 1 in 5 Overtime & Call-Out: Paid at double time Company Vehicle, Full tools, Uniform, PPE provided!

The Role We are looking for an experienced Fire & Security Engineer to join an established team, carrying out service, maintenance, fault finding and repairs across a range of fire and electronic security systems. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer looking for a competitive salary, paid door-to-door travel and an attractive overtime package.

The successful candidate will be confident working independently at customer sites, diagnosing faults and delivering a high standard of technical workmanship and customer service. Key Responsibilities Carry out planned preventative maintenance and routine servicing of fire and security systems.

Attend reactive maintenance visits and diagnose system faults. Undertake fault finding, repairs and remedial works to ensure systems remain operational. Work across relevant fire alarm and electronic security systems, depending on experience.

Complete service reports, maintenance records and relevant documentation accurately. Identify additional remedial works and report any issues requiring further attention. Maintain professional relationships with customers and site contacts.

Ensure all work is completed in accordance with relevant standards, health and safety requirements and company procedures. Participate in a 1-in-5 call-out rota, attending emergency call-outs when required. What We're Looking For Previous experience working as a Fire & Security Engineer or in a similar engineering role.

Practical experience in servicing, maintaining and fault-finding on relevant systems. A methodical approach to diagnosing and resolving technical issues. The ability to work independently and manage a daily workload. Good communication and customer service skills.

A professional and reliable approach to work. A full UK driving licence. Salary & Benefits Salary of up to £42,000 per annum , depending on experience. Door-to-door travel paid. 1-in-5 call-out rota. Double-time pay for overtime and call-outs.
