Fire & Security Supervisor Hertfordshire | Hybrid Working £55k + full benefits package We are recruiting on behalf of a leading compliance services provider for an experienced Fire & Security Supervisor . This role combines technical expertise with team leadership, ensuring fire and security maintenance, inspections, repairs and compliance activities are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard across residential property portfolios.

Key Responsibilities Supervise engineers, apprentices and specialist contractors. Manage day-to-day maintenance, testing, inspections and remedial works. Carry out site audits, quality inspections and compliance checks. Provide technical support across fire alarms, smoke control, CCTV, access control, door entry, warden call and related systems.

Review RAMS, certifications and contractor competency records. Support training, development and performance management of engineers. Ensure compliance with health & safety legislation and industry standards. Investigate technical issues and implement corrective actions.

Produce quotations and support delivery of additional works. Build positive relationships with residents, clients and stakeholders. Requirements Essential Experience supervising fire and/or security maintenance teams. Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems and compliance requirements.

Experience managing subcontractors and reviewing technical performance. Ability to carry out audits, quality inspections and certification reviews. Good IT skills, including Microsoft 365 and digital compliance systems. Desirable Fire industry qualifications (FIA or equivalent).

Experience within social housing or residential property environments. Knowledge of related compliance services such as emergency lighting, lightning protection or solar systems. Key Measures of Success High levels of technical compliance and certification accuracy.

Strong audit and inspection outcomes. Up-to-date competency and training records. Achievement of service delivery and response targets. Positive customer satisfaction and quality performance results.
