First Line Manager

Overview

In this role you will oversee HR-related support for colleagues on the aviation contract, reporting to the Airside Performance Manager. You’ll ensure compliance and standards while coordinating meetings and using key tools to improve practices. You’ll build strong relationships, conduct investigations, and support safety initiatives with local teams. You will drive performance and efficiency in an operational environment, adapting to a fast-paced, security‑sensitive setting. Responsibilities

• Oversee HR support and colleague relations on the aviation contract
• Ensure compliance and standards; plan and coordinate required meetings
• OMS tooling management to improve working practices
• Build relationships and maintain clear communication across teams
• Conduct investigations and manage HR-related processes
• Adapt to changing environments and uphold safety culture
• Collaborate with local teams on incidents/accidents/GSRs/CSRs
• Track performance with daily logs, investigations, and handovers
• Drive performance and efficiency of colleagues in an operational setting

Key requirements

• Aviation experience
• Problem-solving mindset with focus on mitigations to prevent recurrence
• Self-motivated with continuous improvement mindset
• Impeccable literacy and verbal skills
• Strong leadership and standards-setting abilities
• Five years address history
• Five years reference history (employment/education/benefit claim/character)
• Ability to obtain full airside ID
