Fixed Wire Testing Engineer Oxfordshire / Berkshire region £42,000.00-£45,000.00 per year bonus Job summary: · The Fixed Wire Testing Engineer uses their skills and experienced to ensures the safety and compliance of electrical systems and equipment. · They perform testing procedures as detailed in BS7671 as well as taking the lead when working with other engineers Role Requirements Have at least 2 years testing experience in Commercial and Industrial environments Spend the required 40 hours per week on site · Qualified in C&G 2391 or 2394/95 · AM2 Qualified · Holds Level 3 C&G 2360, 2330 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installations · Qualified in C&G 2382, 18th Edition · Possesses a full, valid driving license · A willingness to work flexible hours and travel to site
The role
- Submit reports (EICR, Observations, Site Audit Pro) to the required standard
- Complete Thermal Image Reports
- Complete Emergency Light testing and submit reports
- Be available to works a reasonable amount of weekends throughout the year
- Be available to work outside of core business hours as required by the Company
- Organise and liaise with site contacts to ensure works are completed as specified
- Works to be completed within the required time and budget
- Assist with the training and onboard of new engineers when joining the company
- Assist with training and development of Trainee engineers and updating required training logs
- Complete all Health and Safety training by the required due dates
- Assist the office with van swaps and vehicle servicing appointments
- Complete any other tasks (Remedial Works etc) as required by the Company What's on offer:
