Counterbalance FLT Driver / Scanner **Immediate Start (Nights)**Haydock **£14.07 per hour **MondayFriday, 19:0005:00 We are currently recruiting for a skilled Counterbalance FLT Driver / Scanner to join a busy, fast-paced logistics operation in Haydock.
This is a varied role that combines FLT driving, pallet scanning, warehouse duties and basic computer administration. We are looking for candidates who can hit the ground running and work confidently, accurately and safely in a high-volume environment.
The Role Shift: MondayFriday, 19:0005:00 Pay Rate: £14.07 per hour Start: Immediate Key Duties Loading and unloading wagons using a Counterbalance FLT. Loading and unloading double-deck trailers. Scanning inbound and outbound pallets using handheld scanning equipment.
Carrying out stock and pallet checks throughout the warehouse. Completing regular walking and warehouse duties throughout the shift. Undertaking general FLT duties in line with operational requirements. Updating warehouse systems and processing stock information using basic computer systems.
Supporting the smooth, safe and efficient movement of goods across the site. Maintaining high standards of accuracy, housekeeping and health & safety.
Requirements
At least 2 years' experience operating a Counterbalance FLT in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Proven experience loading and unloading double-deck trailers essential. Confidence using handheld scanners and basic warehouse computer systems.
A strong understanding of warehouse health & safety procedures. Excellent reliability, attendance and timekeeping. The ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure. A flexible approach to undertaking FLT, scanning, warehouse and administrative duties.
A professional attitude and the ability to work well as part of a busy team.
