The mission Build the best-value FMCG offer in Ireland. We're looking for someone who is relentlessly focused on: Benchmarking the best UK discount retailers Finding who makes and supplies their best products - and what they pay Buying closer to source and cutting unnecessary middlemen Building a brilliant core FMCG range Sourcing exceptional branded deals - short-dated, clearance, or grey market Moving fast on clearance, excess stock and short/medium-dated opportunities Negotiating better costs and terms, constantly You'll have real authority to buy and make decisions - this isn't a role where you write recommendations for someone else to approve.
Who we're looking for You don't need to be a 20-year FMCG veteran. Relevant buying experience helps, but it's not essential. What matters more is execution. Commercial. Numerate. Curious. Fast. Relentless. No ego. If your instinct when you see an exceptional product or price is: "Who makes it?
