Lecturer in Forensic Science Annual Salary: £30 - £40ph Location: London Job Type: Part time 0.6 Day-to-day of the role of a Forensic Science Lecturer : Teach and assess a range of Biology, Chemistry, and Forensic Science units from Level 2 up to Level 3 across various courses.
Act as a course tutor for Forensic Science students, supporting them effectively in all aspects of their learning. Facilitate internal moderation and quality assurance processes. Liaise effectively with employers, universities, awarding bodies, and their representatives.
Support students in finding and completing mandatory work experience. Produce high-quality course documentation and maintain accurate student records. Develop and coordinate new and existing courses in response to curriculum changes. Required Skills &
Qualifications
Honours Degree in Science/Forensic Science or a relevant subject. Teaching qualification or a willingness to gain one. Experience in teaching or training in Science or Forensic Science-related subjects. Ability to produce high-quality assessment materials that comply with National Standards.
Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with various stakeholders.
