What The Successful Forklift Driver Will Be Doing:
- Ensure the safe and damage free loading and unloading of vehicles using a side loader truck
- Moving stock to and from various areas on site
- Picking / marshalling orders
- Stock rotation (ensure old / correct stocks are used to fulfil orders)
- Achieving and maintaining set loading efficiency standards in a safe manner
- Maintaining the Yard in a tidy, organised and structured condition
- Ensure product is clearly labelled up to support the accurate off loading at customers
- Follow customer requests on loading manifests
- Report any incidents and near misses
- Promote health and safety on site, by ensuring visitors wear correct PPE and observe site rulesThe Forklift Driver will have:
- C2 Side Loader licence (preferred), or happy to take training - provided by us - on it
- Counterbalance or Reach Truck experience (ideal)
- Full UK driving licence (site location essential)
- Confidence, motivation & a positive attitude
- Energetic and flexible team member.
- Has a proactive and ‘can do’ attitude.
- Sense of responsibility.
