The Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Operator to join a busy and established Waste Recycling company based in Dudley. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous Counterbalance experience who is looking for a long-term position within a busy waste environment.

Key Responsibilities

Operating Counterbalance Forklift safely and efficiently within a recycling environment Moving and positioning materials and components around the yard Loading and unloading materials using the FLT Ensuring loads are correctly secured and safely handled Following all site health & safety procedures and lifting regulations Working closely with the production and plant teams Carrying out general yard duties when required Maintaining a clean and safe working environment The successful candidate will ideally have: Previous experience operating a Counterbalance Forklift Experience working within a Recycling or Yar d environment Good understanding of safe lifting and handling procedures Ability to work safely and efficiently in a busy workshop Good attention to detail Reliable and punctual attitude Ability to work as part of a team A strong awareness of health & safety An in-date & external Counterbalance Forklift licence/certificate WILL be an ESSENTIAL
