Forklift Driver Location: Ambergate, Derbyshire Job Type: Permanent Hours: Full-time Salary:£26,400 - £28,300 (depending on the role/shift) Robertson Recruitment are looking for Forklift Drivers to join its busy operation in Ambergate.
This is an excellent permanent opportunity for a dependable warehouse professional who is comfortable working within a fast-paced environment. Candidates do not need to hold every type of licence, but experience operating PPT, counterbalance forklift or VNA equipment would be highly advantageous.
In house licences can be transferred. Shift Options Monday to Friday 40 hours per week: 06:00am14:30pm 10:00pm04:30am Alternatively, four-on/four-off shifts: Days: 06:0018:00 Nights: 18:0006:00 The four-on/four-off pattern will include both 12-hour day and night shifts.
Key Responsibilities Operating forklift trucks and other warehouse equipment safely Loading and unloading vehicles Moving stock around the warehouse and storage areas Picking and preparing orders for dispatch Checking incoming and outgoing goods Ensuring products are stored in the correct locations Completing relevant warehouse documentation Carrying out general warehouse duties when required Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment Following all company health and safety procedures Working closely with warehouse, transport and operations colleagues Skills and Experience Required Previous experience working within a warehouse environment is essential A valid PPT, counterbalance forklift or VNA licence would be advantageous Applicants with one or more relevant licences are encouraged to apply Experience loading, unloading and moving stock safely Good attention to detail Able to work accurately within a busy operation Physically capable of completing warehouse duties Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious Comfortable working independently and as part of a team Willingness to work the required shift pattern Whats on Offer Permanent, full-time employment A choice of Monday-to-Friday or four-on/four-off shifts, subject to availability Opportunity to join an established organisation Stable working hours Supportive warehouse and operations team Please get in touch today if you are interested in this role!
