Forward Deployed Engineer – Fixed Income and Macro Technology

Overview

In this role you will help maximize the impact of a wide-scale quantitative tech platform for portfolio management. You work closely with users and partners to build tools, APIs and integrate quant models that support risk, pricing and backtesting. You will balance financial markets expertise with a broad macro tech stack to deliver innovative applications and analytics used by PMs and analysts. The opportunity focuses on scaling the platform, delivering live trading tools, and shaping the infrastructure that underpins trading research.

Responsibilities

• Build and refine libraries and APIs to expose expanding quant analytics to platform and user teams
• Design and implement live trading tools, services and applications to help PM pods scale research and capture alpha
• Develop rapid applications with strong system design and clean APIs that integrate with the firmwide core tech platform

Key requirements

• 2+ years professional development experience
• Strong preference for Python
• Familiarity with pricing and risk management of Interest Rate and FX products including swaps, futures and options
• Desire to work directly with demanding clients and grow financial domain knowledge
• Proven record in fast-paced environment with good time management and prioritization
• Background in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering or STEM
• Eager to learn and solve a wide variety of systematic problems
