Forward Deployed Engineer

Overview

In this role you bridge engineering, data science, and investing to deliver production-grade, AI-powered solutions that directly influence investment decisions. You work closely with portfolio managers, researchers, and traders to turn ideas into scalable systems used by front-office teams. You’ll leverage cloud, data, and ML tools to drive impact and adopt modern engineering practices. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role at the intersection of technology and finance with a clear focus on tangible business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Partner with investment professionals to solve complex business and research challenges
• Design and build production-ready applications, workflows, and AI-powered tools
• Transform prototypes into scalable systems used by front-office teams
• Work across data engineering, software engineering, machine learning, and cloud technologies
• Drive adoption of modern engineering practices and emerging technologies
• Translate technical concepts into business impact for non-technical stakeholders

Key requirements

• Strong software engineering experience with modern development frameworks
