Job Ref: F AI ENG-1Founding AI Engineer – Applied AI / Computer Vision - London / HybridWe’re looking for a Founding AI Engineer to join an exciting pre-seed video / computer vision start-up building cutting-edge agentic workflows and AI-powered video tools used in large-scale media environments.
With multiple deals signed, now is a terrific time to join. This is a rare opportunity to become the first dedicated AI hire in a fast-moving revenue generating startup already running frontier AI models in production. You’ll work directly with the founders, own AI engineering end-to-end, and have a major impact across product quality, infrastructure efficiency and technical direction.
We’re looking for a high calibre AI Engineer that will be a key hire where you’ll make a significant contribution to the product, with high autonomy and working on the next generation of product.
What we’re looking for
5+ years’ experience within Applied AI / ML / MLOpsExperience building eval frameworksStrong Python and production AI systems experienceExperience with LLMs, Generative AI, prompt engineering or agentic workflowsStartup mindset with a hands-on, product-focused approachComputer vision / video / VFX / rendering / graphics experience beneficialWhat’s on offer:100k - 150k base + equityFounding-level ownership1 day a fortnight in London Greenfield AI engineering challengesDirect collaboration with foundersIf you enjoy building practical AI systems, moving quickly and solving real-world problems with modern AI tooling then we’d love to hear from you.
