Framework Manager

Overview

As Framework Manager, you will oversee strategic framework agreements and drive growth across the UK nuclear and infrastructure sectors. You’ll be the focal point for governance, delivery, and client relationships, ensuring safe, compliant, and profitable outcomes. You’ll collaborate with delivery, commercial, and recruitment teams to optimize frameworks and capture opportunities. This role blends governance with business development to enhance Assystem’s capabilities and client satisfaction. You will shape framework management practices and contribute to strategic outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships to drive engagement and growth opportunities
• Understand assigned framework agreements, including objectives and requirements
• Promote Assystem capabilities and service offerings to support customer needs and growth
• Represent Assystem in supplier reviews, bidder forums, and client framework meetings
• Serve as primary contact for client procurement, commercial and framework management representatives
• Ensure framework requirements align with contractual obligations and client expectations
• Establish framework controls and governance for safe, compliant project delivery
• Monitor performance, risks, issues, and implement corrective actions
• Ensure legal reviews and clear communication of contractual requirements to delivery teams
• Develop management tools and reporting to monitor expenditure, satisfaction, value for money, and performance
• Coordinate framework reviews, performance meetings, and client reporting
• Support bid and business development in tenders and future opportunities
• Contribute to framework business plans and growth initiatives
• Monitor delivery headcount and workforce planning in relation to frameworks
• Assist Project Managers in identifying current and future resource needs
• Oversee financial performance including revenue, invoicing, budgets, and profitability
• Lead commercial management and initiatives to improve financial, operational, and strategic outcomes

Key requirements

• Experience of managing complex framework agreements, programmes or portfolios
• Experience in project delivery, engineering, infrastructure or regulated industry environment
• Demonstrable commercial and financial management experience
• Strong stakeholder and client relationship management capability
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and managing competing priorities
