French & Spanish ECT required January 2026 Good mixed school based in Halifax French & Spanish ECT to join a collaborative and passionate MFL department Our Client is looking for a French & Spanish ECT to work within a welcoming mixed comprehensive school in Halifax.
The successful candidate will teach KS3 & KS4 with full support from a strong MFL team. School Information: This 11–18 comprehensive educates around 1,100 students and maintains solid results, with 91% achieving grades 9–4 in English and Maths.
Languages are well-supported through interactive teaching and cultural enrichment projects. The school provides ECTs with high-quality mentoring, lesson planning assistance, and structured CPD. Staff describe the culture as friendly, progressive, and encouraging, ideal for teachers beginning their careers. Experience and Qualifications
- French & Spanish ECT with the ability to teach KS3 & KS4
- A formal teaching qualification with QTS (i.e. PGCE)
