Front Office Quant Analyst

Overview

In this Front Office Quant Analyst role, you will build and enhance quantitative tools and analytics used by Rates and Credit trading desks. You will partner with traders, quants, and tech teams to deliver pricing, risk, and workflow automation solutions in a front-office environment. You’ll analyze market and risk data to support crucial trading decisions and improve desk efficiency. This is an opportunity to shape front-office analytics in a high-performance trading setting with direct trader engagement.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance quantitative tools, trading analytics, and reporting solutions
• Support pricing, risk, P&L, trade analysis across Rates and Credit products
• Collaborate with traders and quants to gather requirements and deliver front office solutions
• Build and maintain automation tools to improve trading desk efficiency
• Analyse market, risk, and trade data to provide insights for decision making
• Investigate and resolve production issues impacting front office users

Key requirements

• Strong experience in a Front Office Quant, Quant Development, or Trading Analytics role
• Good understanding of Rates and/or Credit products and their risk measures
• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL
• Experience with C++, VBA, Bash or R
• Experience building trader-facing analytics, pricing, risk, or reporting tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with effective communication to front office
• Effective communication with front office stakeholders
