Robert Half has partnered with a market-leading Financial Services organisation to recruit a Full Stack Engineer for an initial 6 months. This is a hybrid role based in Central London, requiring three days per week in the office.
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering a business-critical application, working with modern technologies including Azure, React, Node.js and SQL while collaborating closely with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the development of an established Corporate Governance platform from prototype through to production. Design, develop and maintain scalable full-stack applications using Azure, React, Node.js and TypeScript. Build, optimise and maintain SQL Server and Azure SQL databases, ensuring performance, security and data integrity.
Develop responsive front-end applications using React and TypeScript. Build and maintain back-end services using Node.js. Deploy and support applications hosted within Azure Web Apps. Work closely with Corporate Governance teams and key stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver business solutions.
Demonstrate new functionality, gather feedback and rapidly iterate on enhancements. Utilise GitHub Copilot and AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering efficiency. Skills & Experience
Significant commercial experience as a Full-Stack Software Engineer. Strong SQL Server and Azure SQL expertise, including: Database design Query optimisation
