Full Stack Engineer (React / TypeScript / Java) Up to £85,000 + Benefits Hybrid Working London 2 Days per Week in Office We're working with a fast-growing WealthTech business that is transforming the way individuals and families engage with their finances through innovative technology and exceptional user experiences.
They're looking for a Full Stack Engineer to join a highly collaborative engineering team building and enhancing a modern web platform. This role is approximately 65% Frontend and 35% Backend, making it ideal for engineers who enjoy creating outstanding user experiences while remaining hands-on across the full stack.
The Role You'll join a cross-functional squad responsible for delivering new features, improving platform performance, and helping shape technical decisions across the product. The role has a strong frontend focus, but you'll also contribute to backend services and APIs, working within a modern cloud-native environment.
A key aspect of the engineering culture is the use of AI-assisted development tools, so candidates must already be comfortable incorporating AI into their daily workflow for coding, testing, and productivity. Essential Requirements Strong commercial experience with React Strong commercial experience with TypeScript Commercial backend development experience with Java Experience working with Spring / Spring Boot Hands-on experience using AI-assisted development tools as part of the software development lifecycle Experience developing and consuming APIs Understanding of software engineering best practices, testing, and clean code principles Experience working within Agile environments Nice to Have Kotlin experience AWS experience Docker and Kubernetes Microservices architecture Event-driven systems (Kafka or similar) GraphQL What You'll Get Salary up to £85,000 Hybrid working (2 days per week in London) Private healthcare Pension contribution 25 days holiday Regular team socials Clear progression opportunities within a growing engineering organisation
