Role: Full-Time Higher Level Teaching Assistant Location: Doncaster (DN3) Contract Type: Temporary Start Date: ASAP End Date: Ongoing position Are you an experienced and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) looking for your next opportunity?
We are currently seeking a dedicated HLTA to join a welcoming school in the Doncaster (DN3) area. This is a full-time, temporary position starting ASAP and continuing on an ongoing basis. The Role As an HLTA, you will play an important role in supporting pupils and teaching staff, helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
You will have the opportunity to work across the school, supporting lessons and delivering learning activities where required. Key Responsibilities Supporting teachers with the delivery of engaging lessons and learning activities Leading lessons or classes in the absence of the class teacher Providing targeted support to individual pupils and small groups Supporting pupils' academic, social and emotional development Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment Working collaboratively with teachers and other members of staff Helping to monitor pupil progress and provide feedback Following school policies and safeguarding procedures The successful candidate will ideally have: Previous experience working as an HLTA, Teaching Assistant or in a similar education role Experience supporting children within a school or educational setting Strong classroom and behaviour-management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A patient, enthusiastic and positive approach The ability to work effectively as part of a team A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children Why Trust Education?
