Game Lead - Flappy Dunk

Overview

In this Game Lead role, you own the vision, direction, and execution of a live mobile game within Voodoo’s Gaming team. You’ll build and lead a small cross-functional team, set clear goals, and drive fast, data-informed iterations focused on core gameplay and player satisfaction. You’ll work hands-on across design, tech, art, UI/UX, and product decisions, shaping the game’s feel, pacing, and monetization. This role combines leadership with hands-on product craft to scale impact and engagement.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a small team (around 4 people)
• Set clear goals and ensure the team reaches them
• Inspire and motivate team members
• Focus on improving core gameplay, game feel, pacing and player satisfaction
• Identify what makes the game fun now and what could be stronger
• Monitor and improve key metrics: retention, playtime, engagement, monetization
• Be involved across game development: design, level design, UI/UX, tech, art, product decisions
• Continuously improve internal game creation and iteration processes
• Manage team performance and growth, maintaining a high talent bar

Key requirements

• 4 to 5+ years in the gaming industry (Development, Product, Design, Art)
• Mobile F2P market experience, ideally in design
• Passion for mobile games and solid understanding of core gameplay and player experience
• Proactive, ownership-driven mindset
• Strong leadership potential or prior team leadership
• Data-driven decision-making
• Ability to move fast, test ideas, learn from results and iterate
• Strong English communication and ability to align crafts around a direction
