Gas Engineer

Overview

In this role you will service, repair and install domestic and commercial gas systems, ensuring safe operation and compliance. You will work across residential and commercial environments, including plant rooms, from home to customer sites within the region. Your work supports reliable heating, safety checks and timely fault resolution, contributing to efficient building services. Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair domestic and commercial gas heating systems
• Install and commission domestic and commercial boilers
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on heating systems and controls
• Undertake planned maintenance, breakdown work and remedial repairs including on commercial plant room equipment
• Carry out gas safety checks, testing and certification, and document issues
• Perform other duties as required

Key requirements

• Relevant qualifications in both domestic and commercial gas
• Proven experience servicing, repairing and installing commercial gas boilers
• Experience with domestic gas systems (servicing, repairs, installations)
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills across heating systems
• Experience in commercial plant rooms (ideally)
• Full UK driving licence
