This is predominantly a reactive maintenance role, attending breakdowns, diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs to commercial heating systems. Are you the right candidate for this opportunity Make sure to read the full description below.

You'll also support planned servicing, preventative maintenance and project works when required. The RoleAs a Commercial Gas Engineer, your duties will include: Attending reactive breakdowns and commercial heating faultsFault finding, diagnosing issues and completing repairsServicing and maintaining commercial gas, oil and LPG heating systemsCarrying out planned and preventative maintenanceWorking on commercial boilers, burners, pumps, controls and associated plantCompleting minor plumbing and mechanical maintenanceInstallation, replacement and commissioning of heating equipment when requiredCarrying out gas safety checks and testingIdentifying defective or unsafe equipment and recommending remedial worksSupporting installation and project works where requiredCompleting job sheets, certificates, reports and electronic recordsWorking across occupied and unoccupied propertiesParticipating in emergency/out-of-hours call-out arrangements What We're Looking ForExperienced Commercial Gas EngineerRelevant City & Guilds Plumbing qualification or equivalentAppropriate and current Gas Safe qualificationsStrong experience in reactive repairs and maintenanceGood commercial heating fault-finding skillsAbility to work independently and manage your own workloadGood understanding of Health & Safety requirementsComfortable using electronic systems to complete job reportsFull UK driving licence essential What's On OfferThis is a great opportunity for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer looking for a varied mobile maintenance role, with a strong mixture of reactive breakdowns, servicing, planned maintenance and project work.
