Gas Responsible Person Location: Cambridgeshire, home-based with regular travel to sites across Cambridgeshire Salary: £46,000 Contract: Permanent, full time Hays are working with a leading facilities management provider to recruit an experienced Gas Responsible Person to support the safe management, operation and compliance of gas networks across a designated estate in Cambridgeshire.
This is a key technical role where you will act as the appointed point of contact for gas-related matters, providing specialist advice, assurance and support to operational teams, contractors, stakeholders and end users.
The role As the Gas Responsible Person, you will provide technical leadership and assurance for gas safety across multiple sites. You will support the delivery of safe and compliant gas services, helping to implement and maintain gas safety procedures, safe systems of work, permits and supporting documentation.
You will work closely with operational teams, site stakeholders, suppliers and client representatives to ensure gas assets and infrastructure remain safe, compliant and effectively managed. The role will also include supporting maintenance and project activity, reviewing documentation and contributing to risk management processes.
