Picker & Packer – Glass Packaging (Immediate Start ) We’re currently recruiting Picker & Packers to join a busy warehouse team in Cheltenham, working with glass products. This is an immediate start, with a 6-week temporary assignment and the potential to become permanent for the right candidates.📍 LocationCheltenham💰 Pay£13.50 per hour⏰ HoursMonday to Thursday: 8:00am – 17:00pmFriday: 8:00am – 13:00pm☕ Breaks15-minute paid break30-minute unpaid break🧾 The RoleYou’ll be working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, responsible for handling and packaging sheets of glass ready for dispatch.
Key Responsibilities:Picking and preparing glass products for packingSafely packaging glass sheets to prevent damageLabelling and preparing orders for dispatchChecking product quality and accuracyKeeping the workspace clean and organisedFollowing strict health & safety procedures Physical RequirementsPhysically demanding roleRegular heavy lifting up to 20kgHandling fragile materials with careStanding and moving throughout the shift✅ What We’re Looking For:Previous warehouse or picking/packing experienceExperience handling fragile goods (advantageous)Forklift licence (advantageous, but not essential)Good attention to detailReliable and punctualComfortable with manual handling Benefits:On-site car parkCanteen facilities availableEarly finish on FridaysOpportunity for a permanent role Ready to get started?
