General Operative

G. Bopp & Co. Ltd is a leading manufacturer of precision-woven stainless steel and industrial wire meshes. Based locally in Somercotes we are the UK arm of the Swiss-owned BOPP Group, catering to complex filtration, aerospace, and pharmaceutical applications worldwide.

The Role:

Based at our production facility in Somercotes:

• Working with a variety of machines/equipment.
• Carrying out various manufacturing roles.
• Dispensing adhesives and solvents.
• Various manual handling tasks
• Completion of related paperwork
• General housekeeping
• Input basic data to a computer system

The Person:

• Will preferably have some factory/production experience.
• Will have the ability to read & understand written instructions accurately.
• Demonstrate the ability to work with a high level of attention to detail.
• Possess good literacy and numeracy skills.
• Should be reliable and punctual.

There will be full training for the successful applicants but some previous experience in a manufacturing environment would be an advantage.

Pay: Up to £12.82 per hour (age dependant)

Hours:

• Between the hours of 0700 - 1645 Monday to Thursday
• Between the hours of 0700 - 1430 Friday
• 39 hours per week
