Geography ECT required January 2026 Mixed secondary school based in Harlow Geography ECT to join a collaborative and growing Humanities faculty A progressive secondary school in Harlow is seeking a Geography ECT to join its Humanities department from January 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ECT to gain strong subject grounding with structured support. Role Overview You will teach KS3 and KS4 Geography, supported by shared lesson planning, centralised assessments and regular departmental mentoring.
The department places strong emphasis on enquiry-based learning, map skills and real-world geography. School Information This 11–18 school educates around 1,250 pupils and is known for its consistent routines, respectful behaviour and inclusive ethos.
Geography is well supported with specialist classrooms, digital mapping tools and a clear progression model.
